Body Fusion Present Shy One - Oceania Tour

Body Fusion is the collaboration between forerunners of underground music in Naarm Tribqu and Crown Ruler. For this shindig they’re bringing down UK-based DJ and producer Shy One for her debut Oceania tour alongside Zjoso.

Having started off DJing on pirate radio as a teenager, Shy One AKA Mali Larrington-Nelson has an eclectic mix of sounds up her belt. Obsessively collecting releases from local unsung producers became a favourite pastime of hers from a young age; lending itself to her current off-kilter productions that have seen the light on Scratcha DVA’s renowned DVA Music label.

As for her DJ skills, her sets are entwined by an undeniable inspiration from her hometown of London, nurturing sounds that bounce between grime, broken beat, garage and all of their contemporaries.

Joining on the tour for each show except the last - including his debut NZ show - is Tribqu’s founder Zjoso. A revered icon locally, his taste touches on street soul, 90’s house, dub reggae and beyond, inspired by a freedom in dance and a community of like-minded music lovers.
