High Note turns two & we’re celebrating you!A full-venue takeover of your favourite neighbourhood block, headlined by none other than Floating Points for his only DJ set in Naarm.
Since our doors first opened our mission has always been underpinned by one focus — to provide space for our community. We provide the canvas, you fill it with colour. Across all rooms of our humble watering hole - High Note Bar, Studio & Event Space - spilling onto the deck and into the Northcote Theatre, we’re gonna be utterly bursting with all styles and smiles.
A family affair, celebrating an eclectic buffet of dance flavours from your favourite familiar faces. Extending our license til 3am - it feels fitting to host our old friend and one of the world’s most respected music auteurs, Floating Points, to give our birthday a fitting exclamation point. A special treat having the versatile and ever-eclectic tastemaker deliver a special DJ set while on tour debuting his Live AV show, Cascades. Bookmarked amidst the madness, we also welcome LA stalwart & NTS host Bianca Lexis while the very best to do it from our shores DJ Jnett will remind us there’s other masters at work.
From sunset to sundown, we’re inviting a jam packed lineup of selectors who know how to make you move. If that wasn’t enough, to keep your tastebuds tantalized - our friends from La Pinta are taking over the event space with a magic aromatic pop up from lunch to dinner.
