Magnetic Island Archive (M.I.A) ft. Munir [IDN]

After a brief hiatus, Magnetic Island Archive (M.I.A) returns to Naarm for a full-venue takeover of Angel Music Bar on Friday September 1st.

Originally a shared mix series between Bali’s Potato Head and local heads Crown Ruler, M.I.A has since evolved into a recurring exchange celebrating cutting-edge music on both sides of the Indian Ocean.

On this occasion we're spotlighting Bandung-based DJ Munir (IDN) upstairs. Munir's addiction to digging and spinning good wax has earned him the reputation as a forerunner of electronic music in the Indo community, with locally-based DJs Bayu and Rah joining to keep you on your toes all night.

Downstairs, stylings from DJs involved in both communities including Ones, Rino B2B O'Honey & Elle Shimada.
