Ron Trent (US) Oceania Tour
A prominent figure in the dance music world for over 29 years, Ron Trent emerged from Chicago’s early underground music scenes in the ‘80’s, before quickly becoming a luminary in the city’s landscape. Now, you can catch the DJ/Producer for his first time in Australia and New Zealand, with a stop in Bali to ignite the journey.
From his early teens Trent immersed himself in the world of music, inspired by his father’s record pool in the late ‘70s. He soon ventured into music production, and co-founded the legendary imprint Prescription Records with Chez Damier in ‘93, playing a pivotal role in shaping Deep House music, particularly within Chicago.
Throughout his career, Ron Trent’s musical prowess; soulful and deep, full of lush melodies and a rich fusion of musical influences, has graced renowned venues worldwide - from Berghain in Berlin to ADE in Amsterdam, gatherings in London, Japan and beyond. Now he’s based back in Chicago, sharing his vast knowledge and contributing to the legacy of underground music both through DJing and educational initiatives.
